“GO AND TELL YOUR OWN”

 

MARK 5:19 “Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”  Mas Jesús no se lo permitió, sino que le dijo: Vete a tu casa, a los tuyos, y cuéntales cuán grandes cosas el Señor ha hecho contigo, y cómo ha tenido misericordia de ti.”

I.            WHY SHOULD WE WANT TO SHARE THIS?

1.     That spirit that used to control us – vs.2

2.     The lifestyle we used to have – vs. 2

3.     The uncontrollable character that will dominate us – vs. 3-4

4.     The unrest less life we didn’t like – vs 5

 

II.             WHAT HAPPENED WHEN JESUS CAME TO US -  Vs. 15“When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.” Vienen a Jesús, y ven al que había sido atormentado del demonio, y que había tenido la legión, sentado, vestido y en su juicio cabal; y tuvieron miedo.”

1.     We received a “indescribable gift”

                                                  i.      2  Cor 9:15 “Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!”

2.     We receive the Son of the Living God

                                                  i.      Jn. 3:16

3.     We are changed into a new man

                                                  i.      2 Cor 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” ““De modo que si alguno está en Cristo, nueva criatura es; las cosas viejas pasaron; he aquí todas son hechas nuevas.”

4.     We surprise those that new us

III.            AS WE FOLLOW CHRIST – WE SHOULD SHARE CHRIST

1.     Tell your own

2.     Tell those that are in need

3.     Tell everyone that you can
