I.
IT IS FOUNDED
ON THE ROCK
1. Mat. 16:18 “Y yo también te digo, que tú eres Pedro, y sobre esta roca edificaré mi iglesia; y las puertas del Hades no prevalecerán contra ella.” “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”
II.
IT HAS A FIRM
FOUNDATION
1. 1 Cor. 3:11 “Porque nadie puede poner otro fundamento que el que está puesto, el cual es Jesucristo.” “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
III.
IT HAS AN APOSTOLIC FOUNDATION

Eph. 2:20 “edificados sobre el fundamento de los
apóstoles y profetas, siendo la principal piedra

i. Acts. 2:42 “Y perseveraban en la doctrina de los apóstoles, en la comunión unos con otros, en el partimiento del pan y en las oraciones.” “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

IT HAS A
FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY - Eph. 4:11 “Y él mismo constituyó a unos, apóstoles; a otros,
profetas; a otros, evangelistas; a otros, pastores y maestros,” “It was he who gave some to
be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors
and teachers,”
1. Apostles – 2 Cor. 12:12 “Con todo, las señales de apóstol han sido hechas entre vosotros en toda paciencia, por señales, prodigios y milagros.” “The things that mark an apostle—signs, wonders and miracles—were done among you with great perseverance.”
2. Prophets – 1 Cor. 12:28 “Y a unos puso Dios en la iglesia, primeramente apóstoles, luego profetas, lo tercero maestros, luego los que hacen milagros, después los que sanan, los que ayudan, los que administran, los que tienen don de lenguas.” “And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.”

Evangelists – Acts
21:8 “Al otro día, saliendo Pablo y los que con él estábamos, fuimos a Cesarea;
y entrando en casa de Felipe el evangelista, que era uno de los siete, posamos
con él.” “Leaving the next
day, we reached
i. 2 Tim 4:5 “Pero tú sé sobrio en todo, soporta las aflicciones, haz obra de evangelista, cumple tu ministerio.” “But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.”

Pastors
– Heb. 13:7 “Acordaos de vuestros
pastores, que os hablaron la palabra de Dios; considerad cuál haya sido el
resultado de su conducta, e imitad su fe.
i. Obedeced a vuestros pastores, y sujetaos a ellos; porque ellos velan por vuestras almas, como quienes han de dar cuenta; para que lo hagan con alegría, y no quejándose, porque esto no os es provechoso.” “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.”
5.
